Why From Farmers Exists
From Farmers was built to address a reality we have seen closely — farmers who want to move towards organic farming often face years of uncertainty, financial pressure, and lack of reliable buyers during and even after certification.
As a farmer’s son, we understand that growing food responsibly is only sustainable when farmers receive fair value for their work.
From Farmers exists to bridge this gap by connecting certified farmers with responsible consumers, ensuring transparency, traceability, and fair outcomes for both.
What We Mean by From Farmers

From Farmers represents a working model where certified farmers are directly connected to responsible consumers through a transparent and monitored supply chain.
We work with farmers who are already certified or are part of certified organic systems, ensuring that only verified crops enter our process.
Our role is to bridge the gap between farms and urban markets by overseeing sourcing, processing, and distribution, while maintaining clear traceability from the farm to the final consumer.
HOW WE WORK WITH FARMERS

We work directly with farmers who are part of certified organic systems or recognised certification programmes.
Our focus is to support farmers who have already committed to organic practices by helping them access reliable buyers and fair market pricing.
-
We engage with certified farmers and farming groups during crop planning and harvest cycles
-
Crops are accepted only from verified farms aligned with their certification scope
-
We monitor harvesting, handling, and primary processing to prevent mixing or quality compromise
-
Farmers receive transparent pricing linked to quality, certification status, and market demand

By ensuring consistent demand and fair value for certified organic produce, we help farmers maintain organic practices and gradually encourage more farmers within their networks to transition responsibly.
This approach allows organic farming to grow sustainably, without forcing farmers into financial risk or short-term compromises.

Along with market access, we support farmers through practical guidance during their organic journey —
helping them understand certification requirements, crop planning, and on-ground best practices. This ensures farmers are not left alone during the transition and can sustainably maintain organic standards over time.
